JOHNNY REMO
CEO & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Founded in 2007 by Johnny Remo, SkipStone Pictures, the production entity of his distribution company,Inspired Family Entertainment is a motion picture production company that specializes in the Producing of high quality, story driven, thought provoking,faith and family friendly, message films and entertainment for a broad range of audiences.
As a filmmaker he has co-written, produced, and directed such faith based, feature films as A Letter to Dad, Cutback, Hardflip, Like A Country Song, and Saved By Grace. All were awarded 5 Doves from The Dove Foundation, along with multiple awards in several categories. All Of these movies were on all platforms, DVD’s and were all available at Walmart.
Johnny, a member of the Producer’s Guild of America, has also produced several other family friendly movies such as The Dog Who Saved Easter and the recently produced movie FREDI, a Family Action Adventure Movie that won ”Best of Fest” at The Bentonville Film Festival, “Best Family Film” at the Burbank International Film Festival, and “Best Family Movie” at the Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival. All movies were sold through Netflix, Amazon, iTunes,Walmart, and all other platforms and proving that there is still an enormously large demographic that wants clean, wholesome, family entertainment.
Johnny just recently finished his new project, Max Winslow and the House of Secrets, starring Chad Michael Murray and will be having a VIP, Red Carpet Event at the Skylight Theater in Bentonville, with another theatrical run to follow.
Johnny and his Production Company, SkipStone Pictures has produced over 15 features,while writing and directing 7 of them. He produced “The Dog Who Saved Easter” for Lionsgate And Has produced for such people as the late, great, Debra Hill, producer of Escape from New York, Fisher King, and Escape from LA, and Robert Simonds, producer of The Spy Next Door, Pink Panther, and Happy Gilmore.
Johnny is also the CEO of the distribution company, Inspired Family Entertainment which currently distributes over 30 faith and family films a year, most of which get on the shelves at Walmart.

DANIEL BACKMAN
EVP OF DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Daniel Backman is a screenwriter and producer. He co-wrote and co-produced the films Cutback (2010), Hardflip (2012), Like a Country Song (2014), and has reteamed with Johnny Remo and Skipstone Pictures to co-write the series.
Saved By Grace (2022) and God’s Country Song (2023). Daniel currently has a show in development titled Way Back In The Woods, and the soon-to-be-produced feature film The Mission, a family-friendly WWII picture. He recently worked as Production Supervisor on the upcoming feature film Hellfire (2023), starring Harvey Keitel, Dolph Lundgren, and Stephen Lang. Daniel also co-wrote and co-produced the upcoming feature, Trail of Vengeance, starring Rumer Willis.

LESA CROWELL
PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE
Lesa Wolfe Crowell is a film producer, director and screenwriter. Her transition from military service and law enforcement to filmmaking demonstrates her passion and dedication to storytelling and her ability to navigate and contribute significantly to the various aspects of film production. This love of producing has resulted in a rich portfolio of projects for SkipStone Pictures to include “The Chariot” (2021), “Saved By Grace Series” (2022), “God’s Country Song” (2023), “Hellfire” (2023), “The Tower” (2025), and “Trail of Vengeance” (2025).
Beyond her film career, Crowell is a breast cancer survivor who underwent a double mastectomy in 2019. She openly shares this journey, viewing her scars as a symbol of victory and empowerment.
